Ok image, but I just wish for once people would put up the actual location instead of comments like "MAM" where in the world is that..... Midland Aviation Museum....Malta Air Museum...

The person that kindly posted the photo states thier location as 6.5nm from marham so the clue might be there !! I agree should be clearer not like a location of let's say "way up north "!!!

As MAM is a well documented waypoint directly overhead Marham and I stated it was OTT I thought it was quite clear but I suppose you cant please all the people all of the time LOL

Absolutely with Bluetail on this. Despite being around aeroplanes for some 65 years, I have NO IDEA where a place is when acroynms are used. Being mainly a civvy guy, I do understand that EGLL is Heathrow and EGSS is Stansted, but why not simply put the location in, to save us 'ignorant' ones having to scratch our heads for the location. I am sure more people know a location from it's name, rather than it's acronym or waypoint, beacon, NDB or whatever.

A lot of people on here aren't spotters, who know where everything is, but merely enthusiasts like me, who does know where Mildenhall, Lakenheath, Marham, Coningsby etc etc etc are., but don't know the codes. I can't for the life of me see why people cannot say where a place is, rather than the code, or is it like a Masonic thing................. :S :S, or, God forbid, are they just trying to show their superior knowledge?

I thought enthusiasts were more knowledgeable than spotters and certainly more knowledgeable than I or is it Me  ;) Thank goodness I didn't mention TR1/TB7 junction or type in a geo co-ordinate such as near 52.646625, 0.540332

Great picture - wish I'd seen that.

I'll just have to settle for my Minicraft 1/144 B-52H which I got for Christmas instead.

Thanks for posting,
Ferrari

The image of the two of them line astern was quite a sight . Thanks for the positive comments. As the aircraft was at close to 3 miles up ( having climbed up from the 10000ft Daventry corridor transit ) I had to crop the image quite heavily so it is a bit grainy to say the least and I couldn't get both of them in focus within the frame .

Nice capture. Was lucky enough to see them in clear blue skies crossing the coast at Wells. Would have missed them had not an F-15 been turning overhead which drew my attention! As you say, they were quite a sight.
