Nice. Why are the two starboard engines matt black?

Thanks for the comments.

In past versions of Cobra Ball, it provided an Anti-Glare surface. I believe these days the wing is still painted black as a historical 'nod' to the past.

It's the whole starboard wing. Apparently windows on that side are optical glass and are used for very high definition cameras. Black for anti glare. Or was/still is?, as suggested above.

Definitely great shots. Is the Fairford bit definite, rumour or wishful thinking, please? Thanks, Tony

It is expected that the 95th RS will move to RAF Fairford in line with the RAF Mildenhall closure program.

So, for those of us on the far side of the pond --- is this December 8th, or August 12th ?

December 8th. (As I see you haven't had a response I thought I'd better jump in!) I guess, with all due respect, that UK posters wouldn't even think of the conflict of UK/US format i.e. dd/mm/yyyy vs. mm/dd/yyyy - in fact some may not even know of such a thing.

Caused me one hell of an issue some years back as a data analyst importing a dataset into a new install of Excel with the "wrong" format set

Off topic, but didn't Beagle 2 make a new hole in Mars due to a similar metric and imperial data mistake, between the British and Americans, lead to a catastrophic entry navigation programming error?

With all due respect to those on the other side of the pond the main clue was the post was made in December but then I wouldn't of voted for Donald
