Spent 1045-1500 here and after a very quiet hour with just the CAG E-2C bashing the circuit nearly considered packing it in! Thankfully the afternoon just kept on getting better.
E-2C 165819:NE600 VAW-113 CVW-2 Carl Vinson
E-2C 165650:600 ACCLOGWING (Airborne Command & Control & Logistics Wing)
At around 1330 this beauty appeared on the approach followed by not just one but 2 LC-130's. The ATAC Kfir's then launched followed by the local ANG MAFFS Herc arriving with the newish P-8 hot on it's heels.

Bet you're glad you didn't walk away from that! Fantastic shots of very interesting subjects.

Well worth the patience sir,that CAG E-2C is something else and the NP-3D and LC-130s certainly made it worthwhile plus the Kfirs as a bonus.
