Warton 26-5-17 - One for the record.....
Got there 3pm and I don't think anything significant had moved by that time. Everyone cleared off then just as I was about to leave the sound of a turbine wound up from the hangars ~4:10pm, surprised me at that time on a Friday. Nothing from the departure as he was vertical in no time on R08. Went to the estuary for the return 1.5hrs later - had put a 1.4x extender on in the car and having not seen the approach from that end before I got the angles all wrong with the sun from the best vantage point I could find. One usual overshoot to clear birds followed by a break to land. Poor shot, heavily edited due silhouetting though one for the record of the movement.....
