Pinky going southbound through the Hexham Gap yesterday. Shot has been heavily cropped as the aircraft was 5 miles away.

Cracking picture mate, nicely caught. Right place right time, just shows you don't always need a tight crop/ up cIose pic I think the whole scenery adds to it
Re: 'Pinky' in the Hexham Gap
I agree, I like being able to see the aircraft in the context of the terrain if low level.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Lovely catch Thanks for sharing
May the skies be clear and blue and the wind fair with a guiding star to steer by.

Re: 'Pinky' in the Hexham Gap
As mentioned by others, definitely all the better for being shown flying low through the Tyne Valley ... with the high spot that you were in, if you'd been any closer to the location the aircraft would have been seen above the valley, so great catch and a rare capture in this location especially. Just goes to show ... you don't need to go to the 'touristy' hotspots to capture interesting shots! Cheers, Chris

Great catch
By the way, don't use it so much. We still want it in Larissa

Re: 'Pinky' in the Hexham Gap
Hexham gap used to be very popular with crews. Nice to see something from a different location.
