Home of the Dassault Mirage 2000D, BA133

Post by Wildweasel52 » Sat Apr 22, 2017 9:49 pm

Hey guys,

Last year I visited airbase Nancy-Ochey in France to do a photohoot and capture the mighty mirage 2000. In my opinion a beautiful designed aircraft from the French aircraft manufacturer Dassault. I tried to capture my love for this aircraft and the people from this base were very helpfull fullfilling this idea. Luckely the mirage is still going strong till 2030 within de Armée de L'air since it had an MLU (MidLifeUpdate). This update consists primarily to the avionics and weapons systems (gun pod and newer MBDA MICA IR missile for self-defence). Hope you enjoy!

Cheers,
Reinier

Definitely one of my favourite jets.

I was outside at Nancy-Ochey a few years ago and the Gendarmerie didn't mind numbers being written down but definitely "no photos".
