Left today mate and headed over to Ramstein - shame you did not catch him Sunday

There was an incident that made the papers 10 or 15 years back where a C5 was circling for quite some time burning fuel before attempting a landing at The Hall. It was quite late in the evening/early hours.

There was the usual sensationalist nonsense about how low it was and how fast it was going.
I heard it once then dozed off, apparently it did do several laps of Norfolk.
