An Unexpected Visitor To Bournemouth - 26/7/16

Post by Rotörhead » Wed Jul 27, 2016 8:00 pm

I've not been up to much all week, either stuck at home or at work - then yesterday, on the day I booked to have my hair cut, I saw that this had come in whilst I was out... Typical!

I've never got a shot of an AN-26 in the air and I don't recall a time where I've ever even seen one, and then here it is coming into Bournemouth, my local airport of all places on a day when I'm busy! How inconsiderate!

Made the trip up in the evening to go and snap it on the ground

Nothing too exciting with the photos unfortunately, options were very limited and was shooting through a fence as per with Bournemouth. Nice to see a rarity like this come through though.

Nice one Olicat. I like to see what passes through Bournemouth. I get down there for a weeks holiday every now and then and always keep an eye on movements while I am there.

Thanks for posting.

Cheers

Ah yes, she passed over me here near Garwick today on her way home at FL210.

Thanks guys! Spent countless hours there in the past with nothing exciting happening at all, the place is fairly dead sometimes although occasionally something interesting turns up
