Carlisle (more added from Saturday)

Post by toom317 » Fri Mar 13, 2015 10:34 pm

Weather was rank rotten today, dark and overcast. Pics are for the record. The 4 ship Lynx formation was a great sight to see.

For the number crunchers, the reggies are XZ617, ZE375, ZG915,917,919,920. 9 Regt

Back down on Sat 14th, made a total hash of picking a location today. Same 6 airframes from yesterday, plus a visit from an additional 9A, ZG887. It left around 3.15, don't know if it returned as I left at 4. Just some shots for the record.

A good set considering the conditions Danny and a nice opening shot. You didn’t miss much in the valley.

Good to see Danny, as I never bothered to get down in the few days I was able to last week. 2 familiar cabs there for me. Can't quite orientate where some are parking...some look to be on the Dutch area, and others appear nearer the mound to the North of that.

Hi Duane, they did indeed have 3 of the aircraft parked on the area the Dutch usually have their support vehicles etc. Great for pics , the other 3 were on the disused runway.

Good to see these photos Danny, especially considering the **** weather which adds to the joy of being an armchair viewer! Hopefully catch up on this or one of the forthcoming Ex. if sunshine allows!!

Regards
Chris
