Three RAF Hawks from RAF Valley paid a brief visit to Lakenheath - call sign Ninja

200 mm lens + a Nikon 1.4 tele converter on a D3300 crop sensor camera = Approx 420mm focal length (I think) hand held at 1/500 sec balancing on a ladder (sadly no more)

My best step-ladder ever was intentionally left in Japan!
I once had a telescope ladder, couldn't see sod-all through it!

Nice set. It is the first time Hawks have been there? (Lakenheath)

Used to see Hawk T1s there on weekend visits. 4th FTS pilot was a US exchange pilot. Nice shots.
