France- W/C 15/6/15
Re: France- W/C 15/6/15
You might want to say where, exactly, in France you were, and anything discerning about the aircraft in question (direction flight?)
Oh, and ask on Scramble if you haven't already

Re: France- W/C 15/6/15
I was staying at a campsite in Hauteville Sur Mer and the Rafales were heading to East-West.
Re: France- W/C 15/6/15
Question for you. Are you sure that it was an ALAT Super Puma?
Reason why I ask is that there are the two Aeronavale EC.225s 2741 and 2752 that are based at Cherbourg - Maupertus, and they quite often go right down the peninsula and round to St. Malo even. Only problem is that both were flying last week and I could not say which one (or both) was flying on that day.

Could well have been 2741 which I have seen in the area before, thank you.
Re: France- W/C 15/6/15
By the way, I quite often stay on a campsite (Camping L'Etaing des Haizes) just North of La Haye du Puits - up from Coutances then North through Lessay. Lovely site and the staff are very friendly.
Easy access for the "Parachutage" at Sainte-Mere-Eglise in early June.

Hi
There is only 1 EC225 based at Cherbourg which is currently 2741.
(The other one is at Lanveoc- Poulmic)
This came down to Dinan at 11:15 ish and left again about 30 mins later.
Callsign was BELLIGOU A. (or BELLIGA)
These things do track on FR24 and Radarvirtuel.
The Rafales could have been anything.
