Hi Rob,

Does the Scout - or any of the other Historic Flight machines - bear any indication of its civil registration??

The AAC Historic Flight aircraft are still owned by the Army and flown & maintained under military flying regulations so do not have a civil registrations.

Terribly sorry, Bertie, to disillusion you but the following have been civilian registered since late 2013. They are still owned by the AAC Historic Flight, though.

XP820 = G-CICP
XR244 = C-CICR
XR379 = G-CICS
XT131 = G-CICN
XT626 = G-CIBW

Registration was on 12/11/2013 for the first four and 11/10/2013 for the other one.

Looking at the G-INFO database answers my question. They have an exemption from displaying their civilian registration dated 17/02/2014.
Cheers, Bob

rh226.
:Oops:
I stand corrected and thank you for bringing me up to date.
Been a long time since I last saw the Historic Flight.
Not a civvie fan so don't look at G-INFO that often.
Cheers

Neither am I - and "that often" is probably more frequent than "almost never".

All the best,

Bob
