VFR Photo Scenery Vol 7 Central Scotland Install issue
Hi All,
Another tech issue...
I've had Horizon/Playsims VFR Photographic Scenery for a while now, using it on Windows 7 FSX. After the change to Win10 there has been no issues with all of my UK Mainland volumes of the VFR Photo scenery, except the volume 7 Central Scotland package. The issue is initiating the install; unlike the other volumes it doesn't autorun. I cannot seem to find a way to manually initiate the autorun, and nor can I find a way to manually transfer the scenery to hard drive. This has only come about during Win 10, as it worked fine in 7. Does anyone know of a way to rectify this problem? Thought I'd give it a shot in here since it's impossible to get support from Horizon any more.
Hope someone can help.
Regards
Duane

Tried navigating to the .exe file on the disc, and selecting "run as admin" or similar?

Gary,
Thanks, that's initiated the install. Wait out on whether it has succeeded.
Thanks for the advice.

So, it has worked (partially). The scenery has downloaded into the Playsims directory but not activated in FSX. Trying to add it like add-on scenery in the scenery library menu but this isn't working. Just going to have to keep trying different methods.

Ah great, thanks. I had seen the Avsim one, but not read it yet. That patch may be of use also. Cheers for the help.

Success! Definitely making a copy on hard drive to avoid all this again though.
Cheers for your help Gary.
