Good evening Mods and Fcers
Your help would be much appreciated with my problem.... Every time I log in I also enter a tick in the box for the automatic log in but the next time I log on it hasn`t worked.
Would this be something that the mods could help with or is it something I would need to adjust on my PC.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Automatic sign in
Try clicking the save password box when prompted Bro as it's your PC that needs to remember the password too
Re: Automatic sign in
Hi Bro
I've never been prompted to save my login details, not sure what you mean?... In the past ive just entered my login details as normal and ticked the box that states " Log Me In Automatically Each Visit" and its done it with out problem... now it doesn`t work??

It should ask you if you want to remember your password via your PC
Re: Automatic sign in
Not required. FC, and CA, log me out every time I close my browser, regardless of which computer or phone I'm using - has done for a while.Bobby Jo wrote:It should ask you if you want to remember your password via your PC

Re: Automatic sign in
That seems odd, not something that i have experienced and automatic logins have been working fine for me on multiple machines. I would assume this is some form of issue relating to use/storage of cookies within your browser.
What browser are you using?

Will look into over the next couple off days (am away at the moment). A quick look on the board settings suggests its all configured correctly

Re: Automatic sign in
Latest beta of 3.1 came out a couple of weeks ago. I don't use betas on my bulletin boards but haven't noticed an issue being raised about persistent logins.ChrisGlobe wrote:I'm also having the same issue with UKAR, could be be an issue with a new version of phpBB I wonder?
For security I'd recommend people don't use persistent logins anyway ;-)
