I seem to be having the same problem as atech. Unfortunately I havent been able to figure out how to do it. It is the first time i have even posted on FC and was quite keen to get them up there but if found the whole process to be difficult and very time consuming, especially as i didn't have a photo sharing account and had to open a flickr account. As atech mentioned in their post, I am getting increasingly frustrated with the process!

But hopefully youll be able to help me out, id be very grateful!

Iv done everything as mentioned but the preview says

'It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image'

Some help would be great!

Hello hawktmk1a

The problem has become more frequent recently

As ChrisGlobe replied in my post

"It's an issue with whatever host you use for your images, they block the request from the forum software to determine if the image meets the rules regarding image dimensions"

I have found that if I wait a decent period after uploading the pictures to the host site (sometimes as much as 12 hours !) it seems to work.

I know this is frustrating and not very helpful, but it now seems to work.

Where are you uploading the photo?

Could you post the link to the image here without the [img] brackets?
