There should be no problem uploading avatars..
they have to be 120px or less wide and 24kb or smaller is size.
They should all work then?

If you have Photoshop you can save your pictures you want for Avatars using the "Save for Web" function instead of "Save As".
This will save the image (you have an option of how much compression you want) to a reasonable size and will show you what the size is per compression value.

I agree with all the comments it really is a shame that we cant all just get on with each other and appreciate the hard work of the people who run the show.
I used to think that enthusiasts where all sensible people but of course to err is human. Would put a smiley face here but dont know how

Thank you all for the hard work that you have put in to get FighterControl back up and running after the "problems" in such a short space of time. Continue the good work.

To all the members of the old "Fighter Control" sign up and support the team and this new look FighterControl so that it can go onwards and upwards and be one of the best for our hobby/pastime....
