FC Slow 12/10

Post by Gary » Fri Oct 12, 2012 9:05 am

Anyone else suffering with FC going slow? It's painful for me today, been a bit patchy the last couple of day. One min it's normal, the next it can take 20 to 30 seconds to open a page :(

I can also report that the site is very slow at times and barely loads on a few occasions

My internet connection is not the best, being at the far end of a country line. There is no chance of it being upgraded this side of the return of the unicorn, so I just have to suck it up.

But FC does get very slow, even by my connection standards, in the small hours, midnight and beyond. Quite often it just times out and I give up on an unequal battle. Here's hoping Admin find a broken pipe or something that is easily fixed with a bit of duct tape. (I am not very technically minded so this may not be how it works.)

Thanks for trying guys - hope there is a straight-forward fix.

If in doubt, do the right thing
