over the last week or so it appears that every time i close FC i am logged out despite selecting keep me logged in !
is anyone else finding this? there appears to be, at times ,lots of guests .could this be due to be fellow FC'ers being logged out but not aware that they have been logged out?

Re: login /logout
Been having problems with being logged in / out for months now, seems to happen about 3 times a week. Only seems to be on FC though.

Re: login /logout
So far I haven't had that problem but I hope that I'm not forcing others off due to ticking the "keep my logged in" check box
Re: login /logout
Have you checked your browsing history settings in internet options?

Re: login /logout
The only thing I could think of suggesting is in the bottom right hand corner of this topic you'll find a link "Delete all board cookies" - click this, then logout and back in (ticking the box) - See how you get on.

New outrage today?
Since this problem started I have cleared cookies both from my P/C and the board every time I look in at the forum, Not only do I have to sign in each time come to the forum but as of today I found after logging I clicked Board index only to find that forum logged me out again

Re: login /logout
The forum software uses sessions to keep you logged in. Sounds as if your browser isn't storing these - Do you use other forums successfully?baz1 wrote:if i go from one topic back to another i get logged out each time

What forums are those? (To establish if they use phpBB software too).baz1 wrote:yes no probs at all
Re: login /logout
Hi I am still having problems having to log in every time even when going to a new section, I have cleared both board cookies and browsing history from my PC but the problem is still happening. I belong to other forums and do not have this problem that includes the Civilian section of this forum. A very frustrated member.
