Birthday wishes

Post by GOOSE » Thu Aug 23, 2012 10:14 pm

The forum generates Birthday wishes automatically yet we try and send a manual greeting too, to show we care and to foster community spirit.

We are not interested in thanks, because as staff, that's our job.

Yet once or twice it may be nice if members had the decency and courtesy to at least acknowledge the effort made!

Perhaps we shouldn't continue................

Sad to hear this, nobody seems to have the decency and thanks for anything these days. Dont change anything, its a great site and if people choose to be ignorant so and so's, then so be it. At the least the powers that be at Fighter Control have shown those good old fashioned values, being nice, and being thoughtful.

I received a message for my 65th end of July and must admit I failed to acknowledge it because I thought it was automatically generated. It did give a great deal of pleasure however and feel it should continue. My belated thanks to Goose and company.

I always enjoyed receiving a personal message on my birthday and certainly appreciate that a lot! Thanks for the personal touch and if possibly by any means, please keep it up Goose,

cheers
