Is it me or is the "Last Post" column narrower than it used to be meaning some of the topics are now incomplete

First off just to say thank you for upgrading and getting the forum back up and running again.

I have the Civil forum open and the main colour difference is that the headings for sub-forums and posts are in black whereas on here they are now blue. This does tend to give a very blue feel. Other than that they are very similar. Maybe that could make a difference (assuming that is a control available).

Not a criticism but an observation.

^ Me too. Wall to wall BLUE with greyey BLUE background. The soft creamy yellow accents on the previous skin made all the difference.
Ok, now i'm even more confused. As far as I know, there were no soft creamy yellow accents on the previous skin. The old skin was exactly the same as the current skin over on Civilian Aviation (which hasn't been upgraded yet) - http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk . I'm not seeing much of a difference between that and this one.
All the menus, posts and quotes are half grey, half cream/green (or whatever colour it's meant to be). There is no endless blue there like we're seeing here. Every post and forum menu here now is some shade of the same greyey blue hue, there's no variance to break it up and give it some life, and an abundance of blue is very bad for those with eyes sensitive to PWM.
Still struggling to understand exactly what you refer to tbh. I've made a minor change to a couple of the colors to match CA/old FC theme, better?

No change here with a forced page refresh.

What browser are you using? It's changed here for me and now exactly matches the current scheme on CA for the posts background. I've also changed the post title to black so if thats still blue it looks like your browser is still caching the css

OK I see some slight greeny hues creeping in now. Still bland but it's a small improvement thanks.

It's not caching, I see the changes just fine. As I say, the improvement is welcome, subtle as it is, thanks.

on the desk top and tablet everything is fine - no problems that I can see

However on a smaller mobile device the default view does not include the the last post column which is a shame as I personally find this useful as at a glance you could quickly see post titles that might be of interest without having to open the relevant section.

the civil section is unchanged ans still perfect for a mobile phone device

it would be nice if the user could opt for a desk top view on a mobile phone

sorry to whinge as I assume you dont have any control how the framework operates

You can do this on your phone (assuming you have an Android phone, not sure about Apple!) if you want - just bring up the options in your browser :)

Just one query, what is the tiny little symbol in the FC logo next to some of the main topics for? My old eyes struggle with things that size.

Southern England and Reach flights are two. I've dug out the magnifying glass, Its in the same place the padlock symbol but contains what looks like two parallel lines made up of vertical stripes!

I think it indicates that section has sub forums

Zymurgy661 - Many thanks for the black headers - surprising how much of an improvement it makes.

And a quick question from me too....

Why have some topics in a forum(/sub-forum) list got a little red star in the upper right of their FC symbol, please.
Cheers, Bob

Thanks for all the good work mods
Pages seem to take longer to load, anyone recognize this or is it my PC only?
