Just wondered whether it would be worthwhile having a separate forum in which details of upcoming tv programmes, film, radio etc could be posted to give everyone a heads up as to 'whats on'. I know these topics are covered in 'The Mess' but I wonder if that is best used for 'hard news' and the TV etc could be elsewhere.

Seems like worthy of a mention, Steve

Do we really need an extra section on the forum?
Surely "The Mess" is the place to post aviation-related stuff that's going to be on TV.

Personally, i would think that the Mess is the correct place at the moment especially given the volume of posts relating to TV shows that i don't think warrants its own section.
However, maybe it might be worth its own sticky in the Mess similar to the Books one?

Was going to suggest a sticky, Adam - seems like a much better option

Yup, that sounds good to me - I hate to think how newbies get on with navigating around FC, there are a huge amount of sections already and yet another really isn't required.Zymurgy661 wrote:Personally, i would think that the Mess is the correct place at the moment especially given the volume of posts relating to TV shows that i don't think warrants its own section.
