Low Level section

Post by dai » Tue Feb 27, 2018 7:45 pm

Is it possible to have a new section here just for Low level flying photography? I would love to see one dedicated to LL as it what I am most interested in.

Sorry if,this has been broached before, but I have never seen it asked.

Perhaps it would be less work for the mods if posters were more precise in the Subject Line.

E.g. ' LoLvl F15 in Wales '.
'Helos Apaches at SLTA '
' Display Typhoon over Coningsby '
' RC135 over Poland '

A search in the appropriate Section would work.

Thanks mate for the support. And to the chap that emailed me, I meant a section for posting Low Level photos in a section dedicated to that, ie; Mach Loop, Salisbury plain or the lake district, not " so and so has just gone LL. It works in other forums on this hobby of ours and should be OK here.

No "H" in Wales by the by.

Wales corrected, thanks.

I get your point, as in the late Fox2 site which worked quite well. Time will tell. Best of luck on the hill.

I've added a Low Fly section as a trial. My only concern, the low fly frat have gone on mass to Facebook. So might not be used

Thanks to Mark and Gary, I agree with the facebook comment that a lot have gone there but most of the guys I know do not like posting pics on there. That said, I will use facebook to promote the Low Level trial on here . Once again Thank you..

Thanks for doing a dedicated LL photo section, it's much appreciated. I don't use "soshal meeja", and what examples I have seen of it, it doesn't compare to the quality of an image on a forum. I'll certainly be posting in it, if and when we get anything through the Selkirk-Moffat valley

Hi, I'm new to this forum infact this is my first post.
Planning a trip to the Mach Loop soon and wondered if anyone could help me with a list of current frequencies being used for the Loop. Many thanks in advance. Johnny T. :thumb:

Hi,

I've just come across to FC from Fox2, and would like to say a big thanks thanks for adding a trial "low Level" section to the photography section so quickly.

My main mil interest is in Low Level photography, and having had FC recommended to me from a few Fox2'ers, I popped across to check it out. Without wishing to sound disrespectful when I'm so new to the forum, I had to look through many posts that weren't relevant to me on the "Current Mil Photography" section to see a few low level posts. With the trial low level section, I can go quickly to where I need to be.

So thanks for the positive approach to Dia's question, and hopefully the low level section will stay.

Regards,
Graeme.

If you want to see more, go into the Current Military Photography section and put Loop in the search box - 152 pages should keep you happy for a while :)
