Morning Mike
1. Click on Private Messages at the header of any page
2. Check the tick box under the "Mark" columnon each message to be deleted
3.At the bottom right select "Delete marked" from the drop down
4. Click on the Go button

Job done (hopefully!)

Ah OK Mike - sorry I didn't actually go through the complete process as I was in a bit of a rush to go out. Glad you've sorted it though.
