Re: Newark Air Museum Aeroboot / Aerojumbles 2016
Thanks T1 - it all went with a bit of a rush today to fill up the last spaces; a couple of people even got in their cars to bring in their application forms / fee.
Always nice to sell-out an event with 3 weeks to go - as for the Tardis like properties of Hangar 2 - we are fortunate to have some creative minds when it comes to finding space!!
All we need now is lots of buyers, which will then keep everyone happy when they secure the usual bargains!!

Thats brilliant, just shows how much we traders love this event.
I'm sure the buyers will be equally excited has we are, to visit and take part in the event once again
See you all soon.

By and large sellers seem to be OK with our set-up; it's not perfect but we like to feel that it represents value for money.
So come on everyone visit the museum on Saturday 15th October for some 'face to face' aviation trading amongst our diverse aviation collection!

I'm not 100% certain on the culinary front re - bacon cobs; I'll check when we have our final pre-event meeting on Tuesday.
That said I do know that the café now does a nice bacon Panini, which has become my regular treat when I visit the museum!
as ever I'm lined up for the stallholder's 'warm drink' run first thing Saturday!!

Re: Newark Air Museum Aeroboot / Aerojumbles 2016
Evening T1 - I helped set-up the tables in NAM’s Hangar 2 for Saturday’s Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble.
Menu update - just beef burgers on the griddle & bacon paninis in the NAM café!
A quick reminder for everyone else that event admission on Saturday is just £4.50 per person.
Lots of additional event information in here!

Hi NAM Updater
Thanks for checking on the bacon butty status... very much appreciated as I can not decide which to try... it looks like it will have to be a bacon Panini for breakfast and a burger for lunch, job sorted.
The admission price is very good, well worth a visit for anyone thinking of coming ... it`s a great day out with plenty to see and you never know, you might just bag a bargain or two.
See you all on Saturday.

Re: Newark Air Museum Aeroboot / Aerojumbles 2016
We just wanted to add a quick reminder about the car parking arrangements for tomorrows Aeroboot event, which looks set to be busy.
“Car parking for buyers – the car parking area on the old taxiway may be limited (due to work being carried out on a new fence); please drive along towards the museum entrance & into the Southfield where there will be plenty of parking available on the grass.”
Full event details in here!

Hi NAM Updater
Just wanted to pass a massive thank you on to you and all the Team at NAM for all the hard work put in to make this another great event...a superb day it was.
My day started off with the bacon panini, Wow that is seriously yummy, converted now and the day just got better.
The trade during the day was very good, plenty of interest around the stall, lots of great conversation, laughter and a little bit of selling to a few of my regulars made a visit including Ian from the Mildenhall patch meets and Jagmadandy ( thank you guys for your custom again ) and a freind I had not seen for some years appeared at the stall great to see him again.
I must say thank you also to all the public that attended the event and for there custom on the day, it really was a very enjoyable day.
Looking forward now to the March event, please keep up all the great work and effort with all my thanks again to all the NAM Team .

Re: Newark Air Museum Aeroboot / Aerojumbles 2016
Thanks again T1.
Hunter49 – it’s not quite as simple to say, “it seems the regulars packed up first” as many regular sellers stayed past the allotted ‘pack-up’ time and made some further sales; not least to the coach load of ex-RAF Firemen that were booked in.
This whole topic is thorny issue and one that we thought we had managed to resolve – sadly that appears not to be the case.
After discussions on Saturday afternoon and yesterday we have some fresh ideas on how to tackle this. One of the better ideas is unlikely to be implemented until the autumn sale next year on 14th October; this is mainly due to some tables having already been booked for the next event using our current payment system.
That said rest assured we will be making firm representations for the 4th March event to make sure that it does not happen again. We don’t want to get too officious but we are aware of the ‘early leavers’ effect’ being of concern to some other sellers and some late-buyers.
