Vulcan update from our website: "We now have a provisional time for the flypast at Newark Air Museum, which is 1545 hours local (BST). One aspect to remember, as advised by the VOC is as follows: “The time available at each location is strictly limited by fuel, and the ability to manoeuvre by the weight of the aircraft.” "

The museum is now aware of a traffic issue next weekend, which may affect people trying to get to Newark to see the Vulcan flypast. This involves the closure of the A1 northbound near to the museum and a similar closure this weekend has seen traffic issues on the local roads

We have just updated the information on our website to advise of this issue and details can be found in here!

As we say on the website: “These closures and diversion routes close to the museum have led to significant traffic issues this weekend (19 June to 22 June, 2015); please select your route carefully, allow plenty of time and don’t get caught out!”

Museum volunteers are putting in extra shifts on Saturday 27th to have a good number of cockpits open – some with V-Force connections: Vulcan, Jetstream, Hastings, Dominie & Shackleton.

Further details in here!

I hope that the weather holds - the Saturday outlook seems better, which is when we hope to see it near Newark Air Museum.
