Specialist Competition October 2010 - 48th Fighter Wing
Photography Competition Rules - Please Read Very Carefully.
1. Only one entry per user, unless posting on behalf of another person who is unable to do so themselves (children for example). If this is the case, please state so on your entry.
2. The photograph can have been taken at any time.
3. The photo for this month only, must be of an aircraft from the 48th Fighter Wing (48thTFW is also acceptable), based at RAF Lakenheath.
4. The image can be photo-shopped to some extent, levels changes, cropping, sharpening etc are all acceptable. The photograph must retain it’s initial subject though, don’t make it something it’s not, (cutting and pasting the moon into the shot, for example). HDR images are not acceptable. If you are unsure, please PM a moderator.
5. The competition will remain open until 23.59 on the 1st November 2010.
6. The voting will be carried out by the FC staff.
7. The voting decision is final.
8. All images must be posted in line with the usual FC posting rules
9. The rules may be subject to change, and these will be posted on this thread.
We would also like to announce a new sponsor for the Specialist Competition - US PATCHES IN EUROPE, a business specialising in USAFE Patches - as supplied to USAFE aircrew. As with Squadron Prints, who continue to provide fantastic sponsorship for the Monthly Competition, US Patches in Europe have agreed to donate some patches each month as prizes for each month.
Fittingly for this month - as the subject is the 48thFW, each winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will recieve a patch of their choice from RAF Lakenheath. Check out the link below for details of patches available!
Good luck to everyone!

OK before this month's competition becomes too much of an Eagle Fest

Staff question - hasn't anyone got an Lakenheath F-4's or F-100's?
No need to answer, just post 'em

Don't get me wrong, I like the Eagles, but the Aardvarks were better...

I'll be the first of probably quite a few low level Strike Eagles.
