Please don't bust a gut on this but I thought that you might like to know it.
Wednesday, between 2215 & 2330hrs I picked up transmissions (garbled & one sided) on 293.700. I have it programmed as a Holbeach frequency from way back.
By the way, I fell asleep waiting for the Hercs at Cottesmore. 3 were due about 2359hrs local, too late for oldies maybe next time

According to Milscanners, 293.700 is now an exercise / JTAC freq. Could be why you only heard it garbled
