Seems like the north will be busier than ever in November, but the promise of exercises sometimes results in higher level traffic.
Still by then it'll be snow on the ground, chains in the boot, and helicopters to the rescue!
If I'm out I'm Just Swanning Around taking photos!

The very same exercise took place in Devon and Cornwall a few weeks ago and went on for two weeks.
It involved French Rafale and Super Etendard (both in formation) twice a day and one at night every day/night and also Tornado GR4s and Harriers and Hawks. Although the Tornados and French were the most used.
VC-10 was also involved refuelling with the French and RAF aircraft each day.

JTAC's were Claymore and TACP was Bullion.

Is this the same place as Otterburn..........?

My satnav threw a wobbler when I tried to enter Otturburn.

Joking apart guys, please be as accurate as possible when reporting locations.

Not all members are able to see a name and instantly realise something has been posted incorrectly. :( :( :(
