Recently in France on holiday, down on the banks of the Gironde estuary near Blaye we came across this lovely memorial to the brave men that were immortalised in the film Cockleshell heroes, quite humbling..

It is indeed, very brave men, and Heroes in the true sense of the word, (which is banded about much too often I feel)..
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
