Devon reptiles, insects and birds.

Post by Frank the Dog » Fri Sep 07, 2018 4:57 pm

I've not worked the last couple of Fridays, so managed to spend a few hours down the local wetlands, and have been lucky with the weather. The amount and variety of wildlife never fails to surprise me, and I hope these are of some interest.

Wow... wow... these are fantastic photos... really enjoyed looking at these.

Can I ask please, what camera and lens did you use to get these amazing photos?... the detail is superb.

My favourites are the the Snake and Dragonfly... brilliant :thumb:

Thanks for sharing these.

Great shots. How on earth do you get a shot like that of a dragonfly in flight?

Thanks T1, taken with a 7D mark2 and a sigma 150~600c lens, with the benefit of a lot of luck :D

Hi again

Your very welcome.. credit where its due... they are superb and I have revisited the post several times, that Snake is amazing and Dragonflies are my favourite insect.

Thanks for the camera info... very much appreciated... I have done the digital compact and have now mastered the Bridge Camera Pannasonic FZ330.

Considering moving to my first DSLR now but not sure which way to go.

Thanks again... I look forward to seeing your next outings shots.

Tim
