Friday morning walk

Post by WorldInFocus » Sat Jan 13, 2018 9:02 am

Hi Everyone,

Here are some pictures taken yesterday on a little bimble around the local area. A good day in many respects lots of birds and other creatures around.

You'd got me interested anyway as always with your posts, but then I saw the open-beaked bee eater shot - fabulous!

Keep posting as there are some really exotic species that I'll probably never see.

Nighthawke beat me to it - thank you for this and your earlier posts, it's always good to see some very different birds. Your local spring/oasis must be a magnet for them.

Whereabouts in Saudi are you, roughly, and is it OK to wander around with a camera following what I imagine is a very unSaudlike pursuit?

The thorns on the branch of the tree the African Silverbill (No3) look fierce! Would not want to get stuck in those branches.
