This may be of interest on Radio Merseyside every Saturday morning at 7.50am for ten minutes a retired Liverpool River Pilot
Stuart Woods gives an update of what vessels either cargo or cruise liners can be expected at Liverpool or those that have
unloaded their cargoes and are awaiting orders to sail.

Photographing Tall Ships at Liverpool.

Post by AndrewBarclay » Sat Aug 19, 2017 10:14 am

The 40,000 mile Clipper Race starts at Liverpool Sunday morning the 20th, August, 2017 The Tall Ships all 12 of them sail out of Albert Dock at about 10.15am I understand the Tall Ships will parade from Pier Head to the Brunswick Dock and sail across to the western side of the River Mersey on the New Brighton side.

The Finish line will be at Liverpool after sailing the 40,000 miles one of the ships to look out for is "Pride of Liverpool" crewed by one Professional Skipper and 24 amateur sailors
