When I say Longbeak, its probably a Curlew, but my bird recognition skills are somewhat limited
The Barn Owl pics aren't the best, but the light was a tad tricky........ honest!
Seaton Wetlands is a wonderful facility, 5 minutes from home. There is a great variety of hides, well positioned and offering very good vantage points, all linked by level pathways, and a free car park. I've had the new camera for just over 3 months, and thanks to some helpful advice I'm finally coming to grips with it, any further tips would be most welcome, particularly with Yeovilton Air Day and RIAT looming large!
Thanks for looking,
Phil

You don't need any advice by the looks of it.
Did you use manual focus on the first set with the orange beak.

Superb images, really excellent, I've been trying for years for a decent image, the oiks are fantastic shots.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Re: Oystercatcher, Longbeak and Barn Owl
Thanks very much for the feedback chaps, much appreciated.
Slogen51, not brave enough to go to manual focus yet, I'm finding the best results using shutter priority with the centre point plus 8 assists.
Pune, he's a very obliging fellow, his route to and from the nest takes him on a level flight path past the hide
Thanks again,
Phil
