Few photos from a couple of visits to the RSPB reserve at Lakenheath Fen. Nice couple of firsts for me including Bearded t its, Cuckoo and a Bittern.

flying bitterns are a rarity, great shots PS loved the adder photos too

Cheers guys. Was amazed by the Bittern. Thought it was a goose flying towards me before i looked at it through the camera.

Beautiful shots at what has to be one of the best reserves in the country.

Did you see or hear any Orioles ?
