This is a different sort of Osprey this Osprey Crane can lift over 400 tons and is the largest mobile crane in the UK. The Osprey crane was at Preston Docks to unload a 180 ton transformer destined for Padiham Power Station the load came on a Monrovian register ship names The River Trader and is the largest ship to have visited Preston for years. Credits to the original photographer. The Guest Diesel was 37424 that was its original serial number but in honour of the final flight of Vulcan XH 558 it was renumbered to 37558 and a nameplate was fitted as Avro Vulcan 558 to the side of the class 37.

On Saturday I had a cab ride on 37558 the driver was named Makepeace but no relation to Tarnish 5.
