Is there a flying club at Scampton? G-AWGK just departed

Just an enquiry, does Scampton have a flying club on base at all as G-AWGK [Cessna 150] just left and it did the same either earlier this week or last week.

I have 'WGK as being based Gamston, but the owner lives in Saxilby so could have moved it.

yea, just gone back in my logs and I saw it land there (Scampton) on 24/02/14 but cant find the one re last week. Yea, maybe moved. Didn't think there was anything Civi there though hence the question :-/

Have been given to understand that due to MoD decision the civilian owned aircraft based at both Scampton and Cranwell have been "evicted". Hence this is the reason there is no GA fly-in to Cranwell this year. Looking forward to flying in to Waddington on Sunday for their GA Day.
