E3

Post by usafe » Thu Feb 02, 2012 12:42 pm

Hi,
Does anybody know if and when the E3's are going to RAF Scampton, i was working at Scampton two weeks ago and was told that due to runway work at Waddington they were going to be boltholing at Scampton.

While i was there all the dispersal floodlights were being replaced and tested, I got this information from the lighting guy.

Thanks,

Jerry.

Hey john,

Thanks for the reply, those were my words exactly but i was told that the runway at Scampton had a lot of work done to it over the last two years and was not a problem , time will tell although i won't hold my breath.

Jerry.

I thought they had to stick to the centre of the taxiways due to degradation at the edges.

I would have thought Coningsby, but can't think where they'd park them!
