As you say John it's great to see and hear them up in the air again. We had her ladyship do a couple of approaches to Humberside as Scampton 13 this morning before departing to Waddington.

I've just noticed what the title of this thread says , and nearly had a heart attack thinking that I'd over slept by 5 months, thinking we were talking football and by some big miracle Florist had pulled off mission impossible

I seem to remember a few years back that Scampton was earmarked for closure and that the Reds were to relocate to Waddo. Is this any different?

The move was due to happen middle of this year but was then delayed until 2012. However it is now being reviewed, and a final decision (or at least they say it will be the final one lol) will be made next year whether RAFAT move or not.
