Anyone know why the Reds aren't flying today?

Thanks Gary. I nearly went today too. I sure wish they'd post known closures in advance on the Reds' website.

Saying on local radio that there was some sort of service at the Cathedral yesterday for Red4 so maybe due to that?

On Monday afternoon there was a memorial service held in Lincoln Cathedral for Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging :'(

A 1000 service personel and friends from the Red Arrows and the Harrier Force attended and the new Boss along with the FNG's with the new Red 10 made a flypast after the service.

Today was a "down day" for the Team.

RIP Flight Leiutenant Jon Egging - RED 4

Red 9 on Scampton Approach. Great to hear your voice again, Kirsty! Looking forward to the rest of Gypo's return.

Hope you caught her through The Loop, Craig.

Tuesday was my first trip to Scampton since my spring visits. Arrived ten minutes prior to the first sortie [time]. A Squirrel came in late morning and I left about 20 minutes before Red 9 [see above] landed on.
Spent 2hours at Waddington, saw a King Air at a range of 2miles, wrong end of the airfield, before leaving for Cottesmore and home.
Great weather, a day for reflection alround really.
