Red Arrows winter training

Post by aitch9 » Thu Dec 03, 2015 2:31 pm

Anyone any thoughts on what the Reds might do for their winter training as it looks like Akrotiri could be too busy to accommodate them.

They went to Greece (Hellenic Air Force Base Andravida) this year, i'm guessing they might do the same again?

End of March beginning of April time off the top of my head without looking at my notes, you should see them on Wednesday unless one of two things happen, 1) Weather, they haven't done a display practice this week yet because of it, then; 2) Other training, once a month on average they might do other training, go to valley for sim training etc. To give you an idea of what they get up to on weekdays until Op Springhawk begins here are tomorrow's times, they are normally released in the morning or sometimes the night before:

0915 - 0945 - Five aircraft
0945 - 1015 - Two aircraft
1145 - 1215 - Five aircraft
1215 - 1245 - Four aircraft
1415 - 1445 - Five aircraft
1445 - 1515 - Four aircraft
