I expect they needed to sweep the hangar floor and may take the oportunity to paint it too!

Did anyone ever go up and dust the collection?

My offer to clean&polish the windshields was ignored

I expect that they receive many daft offers from a wide range of weird people. It has been a great pleasure to have the Hunter, a Hunter, sneak in on finals. Caught it on camera on the odd occasion, normally I'm looking in the opposite direction.

Am I correct in thinking that the Reds will not be training for at least another 4/5 weeks?

Hi Andy, yes, I knew that. What I should have written was "Anyone know when the Reds will be back at RAF Scampton and beginning their Winter training? "
By my reckoning it should be 4-5 weeks from Monday but i'm only guestimating.

Cheers

Must admit, travelling the A15 a few times a week, I've not seen any Hunter activity.
I do see the Reds frequently, especially in the formation build up period in the latter quarter of the year.
I do miss my time in the RAF, but every month it reminds me how great it was with a lovely big cheque
