This annual event should commence sometime next week, weather permitting.

Winter drawers on!

Are we still on 243.45 (?), if so, it's new battery time for North of the Humber.

Yea don't worry too much as they have not been up regularly yet. I know yesterday morning red11 was up but as he was on his own he was not using the air to air frequency. They normally get their LARS service and Scampton tower on 125.35 I think (of the top of my head) then sometimes if they are doing approaches they may use a Scampton frequency. However like I said they have not been about much, I think they get two weeks leave after their last display of the season too. I will try and remember to update this if I hear some activity,

Hi Folks,

Instead of just replying I was thinking of posting something amusing and trying copy/paste

Dear reheat module,

It is my understanding that landowners in the Scampton area hear the Readily Available Financial Advice Team frequently broadcasting a popular programme, entitled, "Holding the Bank, now!".
There has been a change in management, so it is possible that there may be some slight changes in content.
Hearsay has it that the policy of "Two for Three" will not change to BoGoF, which is part of the value for money policy previously employed. The price should stay at 45p in decimal terms.

Of course, "Yes" would have been a better way of answering.

Less strong medication might help

That worked, good, ignore as you wish. I have another five on paper somewhere so I will dig them out for tomorrow. They are old but might still be relevant.

I hope that you get to see them soon

241.825 Radar; 241.425 PAR; 243.450 Air/Air; 278.500 Ground; 281.325 Tower; 377.075. Director. There may be others but that is all that I was given at the time.

Enjoy the show. :thumb:

Nearly got me that time Lincs. Up by himself and not using A2A. Why would he need to talk to himself?

Hi,
As at 1619, someone was "turning right, now"

I hope that the weather is better there than here

Holding our bank, now, 3 & 6??? ; Smoke on, go

Better than listening to the Archers. Out at 1624hrs

Spent a wonderful 40 mins or so there this morning watching and listening to "Enid" (the 5 ship formation) practicing overhead and round about. Superb blue skies but bitterly cold - well worth it though for the photo shots with a relatively low bright sun!
Red 1's a/c has a plain red fin and blue rudder and he had a back seat passenger. After they landed Red 11 went up as a singleton for some practice overhead.

Forgot to add that frequencies in use were indeed 125.350 for Tower i.e start up, taxi, take off and landing clearances and 243.45 for air/air during the practice.

Watching the Reds practising is like eating the tastiest parsnips - always better after a sharp frost.

Best wishes to everyone in RAFAT
