Does anyone know was has become of the Northolt Station Flight? I see that ZH536, 537 and ZF573 have all be demobbed, and sold to ISLANDER AIRCRAFT LTD, CUMBERNAULD.
Any idea what has replaced them - if it all - AAC models, DA42's, Civvie F406's/404s?
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....
Northolt "Station Flight" - no more?
Re: Northolt "Station Flight" - no more?
Apparently 2 or 3 Piper Navajo`s now do the job under a Civvy contract.
I live near RAF Northolt and was used to seeing the Islanders circling up into the sky - the Navajo`s now fly a similar profile.
Regards

Thanks guys. I hadn't realised that thread existed (perhaps I was thinking it was more likely to be under a Northolt section).
Thought I also read rumours that the AAC Islanders would move across to the RAF, so all seems a bit disjointed.
