Looking for an AOR 2001 Scanner from the 1980s for a project I'm working on. Must be in good working condition. Would like to get one with the original box and accessories if possible.
Wondering if anyone has one that they no longer use?
Thanks

Hello, Did you manage to get one, I believe I have a couple of brand new ones they were between £325 and £349 when I purchased them, they are complete in new boxes
please let me know and what you are prepared to pay, I bought these and others I have used for my cars and these two are spares that I bought in case the others failed but they still carry on
regards

Hi Steve,
I did manage to get one on ebay a couple of weeks ago - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AOR-AR2001-/ ... true&rt=nc
Yours should sell well if you have the boxes!
Thanks,
Darren

I managed to get it for £25 because it doesn't keep its memories. Usually they go for £50, but never seen one with a box before so no idea what yours could sell for.

Wow Darren you did well although if it will not hold its memory I suppose that's fair but £50 for a good one is low, they are a lovely machine and you used to be able to get parts or have them repaired at AOR in Belper ( Richard is the person who owns the company) address 40 Eastmill, Bridgefoot DE56 2UA tel 01773 880788
its probably the capacitor that needs changing, I have opened and repaired one in the past but if you give them a ring you may get some help
best regards
steve
