Hello All
I have recently got back into Mil Aviation photography. I have an old PSR 295 she works well but the led read out keeps going blank I suspect a loose connection. I would like to buy a new one but am these days clueless as to the best for your buck.
Any advice welcome

Well I guess you need mil airband, so you would be looking for handheld type scanner. Check out ebay and second hand radio shops . Good place to start is Knights CB in kirton in lindsey. Just put knights cb in the browser, and then the used link on the website.
Most users are now using Uniden scanners but there is more types, such as the old yupitrues 7100 and Icom R2 & R5.
Good scanner hunting.

Hi,
You could also give these chaps a try - http://www.radioworld.co.uk/handheld_sc ... asc&page=1
I find them very reasonable price and they are great to chat to.
