the C.17 will probably stay for a couple of days if it follows previous patterns,
the stansted google group is the most likely place to find last minute info: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/stnae

It's not on my ADSB log today. How did that slip in, or did it not arrive?

Well from what I can now gleam from the Stansted Google Group an individual posted a note about a "Rare" C-17A (Can.AF) ... which then changed a Qatari C-17, quite where MAA came from I stll have not discovered!

... as it stands I'm not aware of any C-17 CURRENTLY at Stansted but the USAF C-40C is definately there.

Just got back from Stansted seen at 08.30 pm 05-0932 C-40C parked behind Harrods, no C-17.

and latest from the Stansted google group the USAF C40C 05-0932 is also due out this morning (no precise time given).

It was due from Cold Lake in Canada, so the poster was trying to inform but didnt have details of the actual aircraft apart from type, so it was presumed to be Canadian Forces.
