Thanks Tom.

I knew it had been upgraded, but last I heard it hadn't got a different designation, was still classed as an R1+.
Yeah it may still be designated the same, but DEFINATELY NOT an R2 (yet).

This is an R1+ spec, no R2s in service yet

Mike

Very, very realistic, just the right amount of weathering and panel details. Well done.

Thanks for that Tommc. I am assuming that they are still there as the Google Earth picture was not recent and previous shots did not show the aircraft at all.
I have no reason to believe that the Tornadoes and Gazelle are no longer at Honington.

Re: Honington Tornados

Just been scanning the current Google Earth and notice that there are four Tornados in various sorry states on the North side taxiway at RAF Honington. Looking back they do not appear in earlier Google Earth photos. Does anyone know why they are there? Battle Damage Repair perhaps? Tried to attach ...

It's in 'current mil' so we know it's not an airshow or an event... and with the lack of info supporting the photos, does anyone know what is going on?
It took 0.39 seconds on Google to discover it was a show in Belgrade, Serbia.

Superb selection of images Phil, thanks for sharing.

Maybe they shouldn't expect to have their privacy invaded whilst just trying to do their job.

Negative! For sure it is ZM742. Both of us read down the same thing!
ZM742 has not yet come out of the factory, let alone been delivered to the UK.
