And confirmed as 177704. Parked northside in front of the fire station, tail on to the museum carpark. Ramp open, but just looks like cargo inside.

Re: DISAPERANCE OF MH370

Leaves alot to be desired for QRA of all those countries if it exists! I thought that too, but it was explaind to me thus... The theory amongst the radar techies appears to be that the Malaysian, Vietnamese and Thai militarys probably had primary radar contact for it's entire flight over the South ...

Re: ZR352 Italian Merlin 17/03/2014

The press release on Shepards Rotorhub website has a good picture of the aircraft. http://www.shephardmedia.com/news/rotorhub/italian-air-forces-first-hh-101a-takes-flight/ The press release mentions that it will be in Yeovil until the end of the year along with a/c 2 which is in the flight shed. 16:55L Dark green/Black Merlin just gone into Westlands. Nothing showing on SBS. Looked very like a Danish one from here, but given other sightings probably not.

Re: D-Day Commemorations

Yes, but all the VIP's are due to be in Normandy on the 6th, so I would expect any activity here in the UK to be earlier in the week - on the 3rd/4th/5th. I've been told that most of the important sites in/around Caen will be in virtual lockdown during the cememorations on 6th, and people/veterans w...

Re: Typhoons due back this week?

I wonder what their route will be I assume that means that they will leave today and route Nellis to the East Coast of the U.S. today and then Lajes tomorrow? They normally go something like Nellis -> Eglin/New Orleans -> Bermuda -> Lajes -> Home. If there is an ALTRV into Lajes for tomorrow, then ...

Re: UK’s Voyager fleet grounded

G-VYGG went out late last night on a TOW callsign on the usual route BZN->VLN->SALCO, presumably to Ascention. It normally goes out late Sunday and returns late Tuesday, So civvy/Airtanker Voyagers not grounded, just delayed?

Re: LOG: Westlands Yeovil Feb 2014

Heard doing radio checks with Yeovilton at 1230hrs 11/2/14 was Wildcat 'WHE 02', can anyone help further? mtia Only one I've seen on SBS today was ZZ380, but I thought that was pinging "WHE03". Of course, there is no garantee that the radio and SBS callsigns were the same. I *think* ZZ375-379 have ...

Sorry i didn't make myself very clear, I know they are different locations, I was just commenting that RAAF Williamtown also has a display this year, the first for four years I believe. I just hope that it is just as impressive as the RAAF Point Cook itinerary as it is the closes base to myself and...
