Hi Gordon
Tomcat and Phantom heaven. The image quality is not what these images are about, it was a different time and your images portray this perfectly. Oh how I wish I could go back, I would meet you there no doubt.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Once in the west, Point Mugu show, static '95 Gordon
Great shots, just love the variety. I hope to be at NAS Point Mugu show in March 2023 but I don't expect it to be on this level. I will settle for a few VX-30 aircraft and maybe a patch and challenge coin lol. Jason , can I ask where you did you come by this info ? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks....

For Sale - Canon EF 70-200mm F2.8L Mk1
Hi everyone. I am selling my canon 70-200mm F2.8L lens. The lens is the mark 1 version and is in mint condition. I purchased the lens 12 months ago from LCE for a trip, but I was unable to travel and I have never used the lens. LCE advertised the lens as in mint condition (which it is) and I paid £7...

Another wonderful set Gordon. All those lovely test aircraft, the VX-9 Tomcat is something else. I hope to be at NAS Point Mugu show in March 2023 but I don't expect it to be on this level. I will settle for a few VX-30 aircraft and maybe a patch and challenge coin lol. Loved them, thanks for sharing.

Re: Once in the West, Edwards show '93, Gordon
My kind of post Gordon, anything US military is my kind of nostalgia and this post is right up there. How I miss the F-117, I think it captured my imagination when I was a young man as it seemed so futuristic. Compared to the cutting edge F-35 of today, it has so much more charisma. As for the VISTA...

I thoroughly enjoyed this set Gordon, somewhere I still haven’t visited but would love to go.
So many classic airframes that have passed into history, as I get older, it feels like it was only yesterday that they were flying. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
I really hope many of you get to experience the wonders and magic of the place at some point, even if it’s not this year.
Thanks again.

All that history, seeing starfighters in those colours just makes me want a time machine even more.
A superb collection, thanks for sharing.

Edwards AFB - Toward The Unexplored
Hi everyone, with the USAF 75th anniversary and 75th anniversary of super sonic flight fast approaching, I thought I would share some of my images from three base visits on Edwards AFB over the last 12 years, just to get you in the mood for the 2022 Aerospace Valley Open House later this year. A sho...

Great selection Paul and good to see you managed to get to the event. That Hind is something else, gorgeous.
It would have been nice to have met up again but alas, a closed border meant my ticket went to waste.

I love a bit of nostalgia, thanks for sharing. That USNTPS T-38A is the pick for me personally, I love the red and white scheme on anything USN and USMC.

Tyndall Air Show 2009
Hi everyone, I have just got around to re-editing my pictures for the first time in over a decade from Tyndall air show 2009. I only attended the Saturday show which was postponed until lunchtime due to adverse weather. A very limited flying display started mid afternoon with an F-15C, followed by a...

Very sad news, a legend who inspired so many. R.I.P. and blue skies A nice obituary on The War Zone today, worth a read, especially the younger members here who probably don't know about the legend. https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/41676/final-f-14-demo-crewman-remembers-legendary-tomcat-demo-p...
