Re: Micro Four Thirds opinions sought
Even later reply. I jumped on the M4/3 bandwagon with the Olympus e-m10 mk.1 and the Oly 40-150 (80-300 equiv). I only intended to use it for airshow statics etc but got used to it and it practically became my main set up. Admittedly it is not as fast as my Pentax K30 for autofocus but you can make ...

Better than just a cockpit section.
Last got that one 20 years ago at Waddo.

Is there any news on the Aeralis Hawk replacement? It's an interesting concept.

Re: Fire training centre and the morning rush
I think in these times of "blame & claim", public liability insurance premiums may have some bearing on the land owners. Let's face it, the WAVE/A15 is a serious accident waiting to happen. Infact in the early 1990's (pre WAVE) someone was actually hit on the A15 by a speeding car - fortunately sur...

Are the Saudi's following the same sorties as the other CW assets at Waddington?

Re: RSAF Typhoons at Coningsby
Popped over today and the 6 x Saudi's were all still parked up on the VAS ramp, easy to see, easy to read off. From the spotters car park, exit right go round the left hand 90 degree bend then follow to the cross road sign, go left and follow that road- bingo !! Is that the same road as Crash Gate ...

Re: Wave to close, for now???
I should imagine the car park will remain and be locked/unlocked by MOD similar to others (i.e. Leeming).
Damn shame to lose the van though.

Re: Cobra Warrior Take Two 2022.
I thought the previous restrictions were due to Israeli participation? Seems excessive if they do it again for 12 jets. How would they have gone on in ACMI days? :D I used to visit Waddington regularly in the ACMI days, can’t recall any real traffic / parking problems. Admittedly the local & MOD po...

If its truly about diversity, when are the wheelchair accessible Typhoons & F-35s coming?
Even office staff have to pass the fitness regime so disabled people would be locked out of these roles too.

Re: Mirrorless or not?
Hi All, For more than 3 years I have a mirrorless camera, an Olympus OM D 10 II (Micro for Thirds M4/3). Before that I had several Canon digital cameras and lenses. I am more then happy switching from Canon to Olympus. The gear is smaller and lighter and therefore much easier to carry with you. The...

Re: Ex Cobra Warrior parking restrictions
The banning of ladders outside the fence/A15 verges is complete overkill IMHO. That's the main bug bear for me as the fence is too high without them and as long as you're not directly under the approach etc can't see the issue? Can see the WAVE being a bunfight with ladders all down the side fence w...
